List of things you will need for the bow pictured.

1.5" ribbon - 11" for a 3" circle; Korkers -  12  2-3" pieces; Thread (I recommend upholstery thread); Needle; Glue gun; Scissors; Wood burning tool; Metal ruler; Hair clip of your choice, I am using a French barrette so I will also use a 4'piece of 3/8" ribbon to cover the bottom of my clip for a finished look.

Step 1- Fold the 1.5" ribbon in half with wrong sides together. Lay the metal ruler on top of the folded ribbon at the very end. Take your hot woodburner and run it along the side of the ruler to fuse the ribbon together.

Step 2 - Flatten the ribbon out with your fingers until it makes a circle.

Step 3 - Take your needle and thread and stitch around the top of the ribbon close to the edge.

Step 4 - Once you have gone all the way around the circle, leave about 2 inches of thread to hold on to. Take both ends of the thread and hold it with your fingers.

Step 5 - Holding both ends of the thread close to the ribbon with your thumb and pointer finger, use your other hand and pull the thread tightly (but carefully not to break it).

Step 6 - Tie off the thread, then trim off the ends.

Step 7 - Flip the circle over and smooth it out

Step 8 - Sew the korkers together at the center (or you can glue them if you prefer)

Step 9 - Sew or glue the korker to the center of the circle. I sew my korker bow to the circle and use the thread to tie the bow to the clip. I also use a strip of hot glue to reinforce the structure.

Step 10 - I used a french barrette, and cover the bottom of it with a piece of 3/8" ribbon.
