11. Next, cut and heat seal the ribbon ends, fold over and hot glue the ends to the inside of the headbands.

12. We can stop here. The outside of the headband looks good but the inside is not perfect. This can be solved by adding another layer of ribbon. The velvet ribbon can be lined inside to a) cover the seam b) serve as a grip to hold the hair better. To line the velvet ribbon inside, cut and heat seal 3/8" velvet ribbon in 15", stick 2 stripes of double sided tape to fully cover the back of the velvet ribbon, then line the velvet inside.

I've been wearing this project for 2 and half days and am very satisfied with the result. The velvet ribbon holds my hair very well. I even worn it in a tennis game without problem. The double sided tape grabs the ribbon well too. No signs of felling apart any where. (I didn't try to pull ribbon apart though). Haven't tried to wash it yet. Not sure if the tape will survive the attack of water. Will do later and update here.
